The fully auto DKL Kjeldahl digestion unit series is the ideal solution for nitrogen content determination that comes as a ready to use package, including an aluminum heating block (that offers excellent temperature homogeneity, precision and accuracy), an auto lift and auto suction cap, test tubes, sample rack and drip tray.
The innovative DKL incorporates the revolutionary TEMS™ technology for unprecedentedsavings in terms of Time, Energy - as much as 35%, Money and Space.
DKL Series offers an excellent test precision and repeatability and is available in the following configurations:
DKL 8 (8-position with 250 ml tubes, Ø 42 mm)
DKL 12 (12-position with 250/400 ml tubes, Ø 42 mm)
DKL 20 (20-position with 250 ml tubes, Ø 42 mm)
DKL 42/26 (42-position with 100 ml tubes, Ø 26 mm)
High-tech but simple to use, a microprocessor controls the block temperature whilst an electronic auto-calibration system ensures excellent reliability and repeatability of analysis.
A practical interface with LCD Graphic Display allows access to all the data including the multi-language library and the 54 programs available, 24 of which are user-programmable.
The Kjeldahl digestion units are extremely compact with a narrow footprint for optimum use of space on the lab bench. In compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), data can be printed or stored in a PC.
In order to neutralize the fumes produced during the digestion, DKL Kjeldahl digestion unit series should be combined with a proper Aspiration Pump and Fumes Neutralization System. VELP suggests combining DKL Series with JP Pump and SMS Scrubber.
Two JP Pumps are recommended when using DKL 42/26.
DKL 20 can be used also for testing Chemical Oxygen Demand: its lift can automatically manage all the glass required for the COD analysis for processing twenty samples simultaneously.
